ManifestedMe ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account Information — Your name, email address, and authentication method (Email OTP, Apple Sign-In, or Google Sign-In).
  • Mood & Emotional Data — Mood entries using 24 granular emotions, energy levels, valence/arousal ratings, and contextual notes you choose to provide.
  • Somatic & Body Data — Body sensation selections from 14 somatic markers (e.g., chest tightness, muscle tension, racing heart).
  • Health & Wearable Data — Heart rate variability (HRV), sleep stages, step counts, and activity data synced from Apple Health, Google Fit, or connected wearables (Oura Ring, Whoop, Garmin, Fitbit).
  • Spiritual & Journal Content — Shadow journal entries, dream logs, belief excavation responses, chakra assessments, and guided meditation progress.
  • Vision Board Content — Images, text, and affirmations you add to your vision boards.
  • AI-Processed Data — Insights generated by our AI features including mood predictions, dream analysis, shadow pattern analysis, and weekly prophecy summaries. These are derived from your data and stored to improve your experience.
  • Usage Analytics — App usage patterns, feature engagement, session duration, and crash reports. This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to your personal identity.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used for the following purposes:

  • Personalize your experience — Display mood trends, readiness scores, streak progress, and tailored insights based on your activity.
  • Power AI features — Generate mood predictions, dream analysis, shadow pattern insights, and weekly prophecy summaries using your data.
  • Track your progress — Maintain journey completion, program milestones, and timeline history.
  • Improve our services — Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve app features, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
  • Send notifications — Deliver reminders, streak alerts, and daily practice prompts you've opted into.
  • Provide customer support — Respond to your inquiries and troubleshoot issues.

3. AI Processing

ManifestedMe uses artificial intelligence to enhance your wellness experience. Here's how:

  • Mood Predictions — We analyze your mood history and contextual patterns to predict emotional trends and suggest proactive interventions.
  • Dream Analysis — When you record a dream, our AI provides interpretations through symbolic, Jungian, neurological, and spiritual lenses.
  • Shadow Pattern Analysis — The Mirror uses AI to identify recurring shadow patterns from your journal entries and reflection exercises.
  • Weekly Prophecy — A personalized weekly summary synthesizing insights from your mood, journal, and practice data.
  • Consent — AI processing of your data is opt-in. You can enable or disable AI features individually in Settings > Privacy > AI Processing. Disabling AI features does not affect your ability to use core app features.

4. Health & Wearable Data

We take special care with health-related data:

  • Wearable data (HRV, sleep, steps, activity) is only collected when you explicitly connect a health platform in Settings > Integrations.
  • Somatic body tracking data (14 sensation markers) is stored alongside your mood entries and treated with the same level of protection.
  • Health data is used solely to calculate your daily readiness score and provide holistic wellness insights. It is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.
  • You can disconnect any health integration at any time, and we will stop collecting new data from that source. Previously synced data can be deleted via Settings > Privacy > Delete Health Data.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers — We use trusted providers for authentication (Convex Auth), email delivery (Resend), cloud infrastructure, and analytics. These providers only access data necessary to perform their services and are bound by confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Requirements — We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ManifestedMe, our users, or the public.
  • Aggregate Data — We may share anonymized, aggregate statistics (e.g., "65% of users report improved mood after 30 days") that cannot identify any individual user.

6. Children's Privacy

ManifestedMe is designed for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum digital consent age in your region, such as 16 in the EU under GDPR).

  • We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction).
  • Users aged 13–17 may use the app with parental or guardian consent. Some features (such as the Soul Realm) may be restricted for minors.
  • If we discover we have collected data from a child without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians can contact us at privacy@manifestedme.com to request deletion.

7. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your data:

  • Right to Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you (Settings > Privacy > Export Data).
  • Right to Correction — Update or correct your personal information at any time in your profile settings.
  • Right to Deletion — Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (Settings > Account > Delete Account).
  • Right to Data Portability — Export your data in a machine-readable JSON format.
  • Right to Restrict Processing — Opt out of specific data processing activities (e.g., AI features, health data sync).
  • Do Not Sell My Data (CCPA) — We do not sell personal data. California residents can verify this by contacting privacy@manifestedme.com.
  • Consent Withdrawal — Withdraw previously given consent for any data processing activity at any time via Settings > Privacy.

8. Data Security

We implement robust security measures to protect your data:

  • All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption.
  • Sensitive content (journal entries, shadow work, dream logs) uses end-to-end encryption.
  • Authentication tokens are stored securely using platform-native secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android).
  • We conduct regular security audits and follow OWASP best practices for mobile application security.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data according to the following policies:

  • Active accounts — Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Deleted accounts — When you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
  • Analytics data — Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes.
  • Legal obligations — We may retain certain data for longer periods if required by law.

10. International Data Transfers

ManifestedMe operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. By using our app, you consent to the transfer of your data to the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EU/EEA.
